AI/ML Data Science Engineer - FBI &TMT
Data Scientist
Design, build, and deploy real‑time AI/ML data products for a global sports and entertainment platform, leveraging Python, cloud services, and big‑data pipelines to enhance broadcast, fan engagement, and operational intelligence.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions that process streaming and batch data for live event operations and fan‑facing experiences.
- Develop, train, and optimise machine‑learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, ensuring they meet performance and latency requirements.
- Build scalable data pipelines with SQL and Apache Spark on AWS to ingest, transform, and serve data to downstream applications.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and broadcast teams to translate business needs into data‑driven features and intelligent services.
- Monitor model performance in production, implement automated retraining workflows, and continuously improve model accuracy and reliability.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
- Hands‑on experience building data pipelines and working with big‑data technologies such as Apache Spark and SQL.
- Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain ML models in cloud environments, preferably AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2).
- Solid understanding of real‑time streaming concepts and experience with tools like Kafka or Kinesis.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally in an agile, fast‑paced environment.
