Summary

You will be a key contributor to create the best cloud-based customer experience (CX) solution focusing on AI and providing an amazing end-to-end experience. As a part of the Conversational AI team, you will help us build Genesys core AI capabilities including Speech Understanding, Natural Language Understanding, and processing, chatbots, voicebots, knowledge surfacing etc., to power the next generation of Genesys products.
Key Responsibilities

- You will work closely with a cross-functional team of researchers and engineers on microservices and event-driven architectures.
- You will have an opportunity to work as a part of the team that contributes to the research and development of new features, identifies technical risks, and finds alternate solutions to various problems.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Masters’s degree in Computer Science, or related technical field with 3-5 years Industry experience with product development.
- Proficient full stack developer interested to work on tech stack that primarily uses Python, Java, and JavaScript.
- Have a thorough understanding of Serverless Architecture and event-driven services as well as designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Experience in working with AWS/Azure services and good understanding of Cloud development fundamentals.
- Research or Industry experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning (ML) models, ML infrastructure, Natural Language Processing or Deep Learning.
- Comfortable developing and deploying in Linux (Ubuntu), cloud-hosting (AWS/Azure) and Docker. Have experience and interested in analysing and solving performance issues at scale.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with modern web application/microservices framework like spring boot, flask.
- Familiarity with AWS services e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Load balancer, Cloud formation, VPC, R53 etc.
- Keen to learn new algorithms, new application areas and new tools.
- Exposure to development of AI/ML as a SaaS in cloud and managing infrastructure.
- Interested in tinkering with AI and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Experience in building, deploying, and improving Machine Learning models and algorithms in real-world products.
