About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a strategic roadmap for integrating AI across hardware design, verification, and mass‑production processes.
- Architect AI‑enabled design tools and workflows, leveraging machine‑learning models to accelerate component layout, thermal analysis, and yield prediction.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional hardware, firmware, and product teams to embed AI solutions into AR/VR headset and wearable device development cycles.
- Lead prototype implementations, evaluate performance, and scale successful AI pipelines to production environments.
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of data‑driven decision making within the hardware engineering organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering, with a strong background in ASIC/FPGA design and verification.
- Proven expertise applying machine‑learning techniques to hardware problems, using Python and C++ for model development and integration.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware description languages such as Verilog/SystemVerilog and FPGA toolchains.
- Track record of leading large‑scale technical programs and delivering AI‑enhanced solutions in consumer electronics or similar domains.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.
