Software Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of AI-driven solutions, leveraging Python, Machine Learning, and AWS to transform data into actionable insights for academic and research initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end AI pipelines, from data ingestion to model deployment, using Python and AWS services.
- Collaborate with researchers and faculty to translate domain problems into scalable ML solutions.
- Maintain and optimize model performance, ensuring reproducibility and compliance with institutional data governance.
- Provide technical mentorship and training to cross‑functional teams on AI best practices.
- Document architecture, code, and operational procedures for long‑term sustainability.
Requirements
- Proven experience building production‑grade ML models in Python.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, S3, EC2).
- Background in data engineering and pipeline development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative academic environment.
