AI Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure AI/ML systems on AWS, ensuring robust threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, and compliance across scalable, cloud‑native applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure AI/ML pipelines using Python and AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, IAM).
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration testing for AI models and data flows.
- Implement security controls, encryption, and access management across cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data scientists to embed privacy‑by‑design and bias mitigation into model training.
- Automate security monitoring, incident response, and compliance reporting using DevSecOps practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a focus on security.
- Proficiency in Python, AWS, and container orchestration (ECS/EKS).
- Strong knowledge of threat modeling frameworks, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding standards.
- Hands‑on experience with vulnerability scanning, SIEM, and incident response.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
