About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and enforcement of AI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing AI projects, identifying mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, NIST, ISO 27001) and internal standards.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, legal, and product teams to embed responsible AI principles into product lifecycles.
- Maintain an AI risk register, track remediation progress, and report status to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, risk management, or compliance roles.
- Deep knowledge of responsible AI frameworks, ethical guidelines, and regulatory landscapes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable policies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and documentation platforms.
