About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ASR models for multilingual speech data using PyTorch/TensorFlow.
- Collaborate with NLP and translation teams to integrate speech outputs into end‑to‑end translation pipelines.
- Collect, preprocess, and curate large-scale audio datasets, ensuring high‑quality annotations.
- Implement evaluation metrics, conduct ablation studies, and iterate on model improvements.
- Deploy models to scalable cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and monitor performance in production.
Requirements
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and speech recognition.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Hands‑on experience with ASR toolkits (Kaldi, ESPnet) and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
