Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute cutting‑edge AI experiments to validate new capabilities for news production and business workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate research findings into scalable prototypes and production systems.
- Lead a small team of researchers, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of rapid iteration and rigorous evaluation.

- Stay current on AI advances, integrating state‑of‑the‑art models and techniques into AP’s technology stack.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Proven track record of publishing research and deploying ML models in production.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Expertise in NLP and deep learning architectures.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
