About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI/ML pipelines for processing genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics datasets.
- Develop data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions on AWS to support multi‑omic analyses.
- Collaborate with translational researchers to translate biological questions into computational models.
- Validate model performance and generate reproducible analysis notebooks for internal and external stakeholders.
- Document code, workflows, and best practices to ensure maintainability and compliance with data governance standards.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a graduate program (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with machine‑learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit‑learn.
- Familiarity with genomics or other omics data types and associated analysis tools.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and data‑engineering concepts (ETL, containers, CI/CD).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
