Design and maintain enterprise data domain models, taxonomies, and ontologies to make data AI‑ready, supporting analytics, machine‑learning pipelines, and LLM‑driven search and generation experiences.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and evolution of enterprise‑wide data domain models, taxonomies, and ontologies to ensure semantic consistency and discoverability.
- Design information and semantic models that enable AI‑ready data pipelines for analytics, BI, machine learning, and LLM‑based applications such as retrieval‑augmented generation and copilots.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate knowledge graphs and semantic layers into existing data platforms.
- Define governance standards, documentation practices, and validation processes for semantic assets across the organization.
- Stay current with emerging AI, LLM, and knowledge‑graph technologies and recommend best‑in‑class approaches.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, ontology engineering, or knowledge‑graph development.
- Strong expertise in semantic modeling, taxonomy design, and building AI‑ready data structures.
- Hands‑on experience with machine‑learning pipelines and large language model integration (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG).
- Proficiency in data modeling tools and languages (e.g., RDF, OWL, SPARQL, GraphQL) and programming in Python or similar.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex semantic concepts to cross‑functional stakeholders.
