About the Role
As an AI Product Director within the LLM Governance team at JPMorgan Chase's Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO), you will play a critical role in driving the adoption and governance of AI across the firm. The CDAO is responsible for accelerating the firm’s data and analytics journey, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security, and leveraging data to generate insights and drive decision-making. This includes developing and implementing solutions that support the firm’s commercial goals by harnessing artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies responsibly.
You will be responsible for driving the product strategy, progression through the product development lifecycle, and partnering with technology teams to deliver best-in-class products.
Job Responsibilities
- Define a strategic vision and roadmap for the product that enhances transparency in LLM lifecycle management with oversight of assets: use cases, models, analytical tools, asset metadata, and model supply chain – from data sources to operational metrics.
- Evangelize the product vision across the firm and engage stakeholders demonstrating clarity, experience, and criticality of the product.
- Work with stakeholders across various businesses (Investment Bank, Consumer Bank, etc.) and functional groups (Legal, Technology, Controls) to collect business requirements, create PRDs, and ship high-quality products that solve business needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility between leading a high-performing AI product management team and acting as an individual contributor in specific focus areas.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 10+ years of experience in product management with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing product teams.
- Strong track record of owning and developing a product domain strategy and roadmap, balancing short-term goals and long-term vision in highly complex environments.
- Expertise in the AI lifecycle, spanning from data discovery, data processing, model development, model deployment, and model monitoring.
- Experience in AI/ML, LLM Governance, and technology asset management.
- Experience in practices, policies, and frameworks that guide the development, deployment, and management of large language models.
- Experience in data privacy management and audits including bias, compliance, and benchmarking.
- Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, OpenLLM, and Llama Index.
- Knowledge of operationalizing LLMs Responsibly through MLOps pipeline.
- Expertise in Cloud computing and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in Financial Services or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge in LLMs inclusive of RAG, Fine Tuning, Agents, and Governance.
