About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, building, and testing AI‑powered product features and prototypes for museum applications.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and preparing datasets used in model training.
- Implement machine learning models using TensorFlow or PyTorch and evaluate performance against project goals.
- Deploy models and services to cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and create API endpoints for internal consumption.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including curators, designers, and engineers—to translate domain needs into technical solutions.
- Document code, workflows, and findings, and present progress in regular sprint reviews.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts, version control (Git), and RESTful API development.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication for interdisciplinary collaboration.
