Lead the development and implementation of enterprise AI policy and risk frameworks, ensuring responsible AI adoption through governance, compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define, maintain, and evolve the enterprise AI policy, translating strategic intent into actionable controls and processes.
- Design and operate an AI risk management framework, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
- Provide expert guidance to data science, product, and business teams on responsible AI practices, model validation, and ethical considerations.
- Collaborate with risk, legal, and compliance functions to align AI initiatives with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and training programs to embed AI governance culture across the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience in AI governance, risk management, or related regulatory roles, preferably within a financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of machine learning lifecycle, model risk, data ethics, and emerging AI regulations.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to translate technical concepts for senior business leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop policies, frameworks, and controls that drive responsible AI adoption.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in risk management, data protection, or AI ethics are a plus.
