Devops Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of AI and data pipelines on cloud platforms, leveraging Python, Kubernetes, and Terraform to deliver scalable, secure solutions for municipal data services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement AI and data processing pipelines on AWS and Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain containerized services using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models into production, monitoring model drift and performance.
- Implement security best practices, including IAM, VPC, and encryption, across cloud environments.
- Automate CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions or similar tools, ensuring rapid and reliable releases.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with hands‑on expertise in AWS and GCP.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience building data pipelines with Airflow or similar orchestrators.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of machine learning deployment, model monitoring, and MLOps practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset in a cross‑functional team.
