Software Engineer
Lead AI‑ML research to develop advanced models for paint and coating applications, leveraging Python, deep learning frameworks, and cloud platforms to deliver scalable, data‑driven solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and evaluate machine learning models for predictive maintenance, color matching, and quality control in paint manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business problems into data‑science solutions and integrate models into production pipelines.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation, A/B testing, and performance benchmarking on large datasets.
- Publish findings in internal reports and external conferences, ensuring reproducibility and compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance on best practices in model development and deployment.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on machine learning.
- Proven experience in Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and data‑science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit‑learn).
- Strong background in deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers) and experience with large‑scale training on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent analytical skills, with a track record of publishing research or delivering production‑ready ML solutions.
- Effective communicator capable of translating complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
