About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models that enhance fraud detection, risk scoring, and operational efficiency for high‑volume payment streams.
- Collaborate with data engineers to ingest, clean, and transform large transactional datasets using SQL and Python.
- Implement model monitoring, retraining pipelines, and performance dashboards on AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, Glue).
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate insights to cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards across all ML workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in applied AI/ML engineering within a financial or payments domain.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud‑native ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Lambda).
- Strong background in data engineering, feature engineering, and model deployment pipelines.
- Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and containerization (Docker).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
