Implementation Engineer
Design and deploy AI-driven solutions that integrate with existing construction and fabrication systems, leveraging Python, machine learning frameworks, and containerised micro‑services to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy AI models that integrate with the company’s structural steel design and fabrication software.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and micro‑services to expose AI functionality to internal and external users.
- Containerise applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and operations teams to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Monitor model performance in production, implement retraining pipelines, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine‑learning libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands‑on experience building and consuming REST APIs and deploying services in Docker containers.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Understanding of data pipelines, model monitoring, and performance optimisation in production environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑moving engineering setting.
