About the Role

This is an intensive 12-month program with the possibility of indefinite incorporation, starting in September 2026.
What You Will Do
- Design features, train and calibrate prediction, prescription, and optimization models (XGBoost, LightGBM), and take your first steps in causal inference (PSM, X-Learner, Doubly Robust, Causal Forest, DiD).
- Create a controlled environment to experiment with LLMs, embeddings, RAG, and autonomous agents. You will work on a productive stack (LangGraph, MCP, Azure OpenAI, A2A) and systematic evaluation (LLM-as-judge).
- Explore market solutions (Databricks Genie, MAISA, Salesforce Agentforce, etc.), participate in build vs buy studies and comparisons between LLMs, and work on the lab's internal platform (MLOps/LLMOps templates, MCP server catalog, Unity Catalog governance, cost observability, AI Act compliance) and its adoption (champions network, telemetry, ROI with control groups).
- Work with a technology stack including: Azure (Databricks, OpenAI, AKS), Python, PySpark, Delta Lake & Unity Catalog, MLflow Tracking & Model Registry, LangGraph + MCP, FastAPI, Databricks Genie, GitHub Actions / Databricks Asset Bundles.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary squads with business, product, and technology profiles, allowing you to apply your knowledge in one of the leading industries today.
- Receive advice and mentoring from global heads to enhance your hard and soft talents and skills.
Requirements
- Genuine interest in AI, data, and analytical solution applications.
- Recently graduated or about to finish studies in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Telecommunications, Mathematical Economics, or similar.
- Master's degree in data, artificial intelligence, Business Intelligence, or Business Analytics.
- Demonstrable operational level of Python and SQL (not just courses: some project, Kaggle, TFM, or code on GitHub).
- Solid fundamentals of statistics and supervised machine learning (regression, classification, validation, metrics).
- Notions (mastery not required) of at least one of: causal inference, LLMs / RAG, MLOps, Spark/Databricks.
- Version control with Git.
- Curiosity, critical attitude, autonomy, and a strong desire to learn.
- Intermediate/advanced level of English.
