Lead AI governance, risk assessment, and compliance across the organization, ensuring responsible AI practices, regulatory adherence, and robust documentation while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to refine intake and review processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure responsible AI deployment.
- Conduct risk assessments for new and existing AI initiatives, identifying potential regulatory and ethical concerns.
- Lead compliance reviews, ensuring alignment with industry regulations, data protection laws, and internal standards.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, product, and legal teams to integrate governance into the AI lifecycle.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of risk assessments, mitigation plans, and audit trails.
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on AI risk management and compliance best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, risk management, or compliance roles.
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, responsible AI principles, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, AI Act).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable compliance strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with documentation tools and audit processes in a regulated environment.
