AI Engineer
AI Engineer focused on developing intelligent robotic solutions for intralogistics, leveraging Python, machine learning, and ROS to create autonomous systems that optimize warehouse operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI models for robotic navigation, object recognition, and task planning in intralogistics environments.
- Integrate machine learning pipelines with ROS and other robotics middleware to enable real‑time decision making.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate sensor data, calibrate cameras, LiDAR, and other perception devices.
- Implement end‑to‑end solutions on cloud platforms (AWS) for data ingestion, model training, and inference scaling.
- Conduct performance benchmarking, optimize models for latency and accuracy, and maintain reproducible experiments.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Hands‑on experience with robotics software stacks (ROS/ROS2) and computer vision techniques.
- Knowledge of deep learning for perception tasks such as object detection, segmentation, and SLAM.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) for model deployment and data pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary team.
