AI Engineer
Lead the development of a fully autonomous medical billing AI, leveraging advanced NLP and deep learning models on AWS to streamline dermatology billing workflows and expand across specialties.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy state‑of‑the‑art NLP models for medical billing extraction and classification.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product engineers to iterate on model performance and feature engineering.
- Implement scalable data pipelines and model serving infrastructure on AWS.
- Conduct rigorous evaluation, A/B testing, and continuous improvement of AI agents.
- Document model decisions, data provenance, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Proven track record in NLP for structured data extraction from medical documents.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, S3, Glue).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing standards and regulatory compliance is a plus.
