About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and generative AI models for healthcare analytics and clinical decision support.
- Engineer end‑to‑end data pipelines for Medicare, Medicaid, claims, and clinical datasets, ensuring data quality and compliance with HIPAA and data governance policies.
- Implement NLP solutions to extract insights from unstructured clinical notes and integrate them with structured data.
- Collaborate with data engineers and clinicians to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions on AWS.
- Maintain model performance, monitor drift, and iterate on feature engineering and algorithmic improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
- 3+ years working with healthcare datasets and familiarity with FHIR and HL7 standards.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong background in machine learning, NLP, and generative AI techniques.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data governance.
