AI Engineer Data Scientist - Zions Bank

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines, from data ingestion to model serving in production.
• Develop, train, and fine‑tune models using TensorFlow or PyTorch to solve business problems such as fraud detection, risk scoring, and customer personalization.
• Collaborate with data engineers and product owners to define data requirements, ensure data quality, and integrate models into existing services.
• Deploy and monitor models on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS) ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with security standards.
• Continuously evaluate model performance, conduct A/B testing, and iterate based on feedback and new data.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine‑learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
• Hands‑on experience building and deploying production models on AWS cloud services.
• Solid understanding of SQL and data manipulation for feature engineering and analysis.
• Background in statistical modeling, supervised/unsupervised learning, and model evaluation techniques.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in an agile environment.
