AI Engineer - Bechtle AG

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines from data ingestion to model deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to translate research prototypes into production‑ready services.
• Optimize models for speed, accuracy, and resource usage on cloud platforms, primarily AWS.
• Monitor model performance in production, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on improvements.
• Document architecture, code, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in ML libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Hands‑on experience deploying models to AWS services (SageMaker, ECS, Lambda).
• Solid understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
