About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end‑to‑end AI data strategy for the SAP RPT model family, from data acquisition to model production.
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and feature stores using Python, SQL, and SAP data services.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and domain experts, fostering best practices in model development, testing, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust AI solutions that improve forecasting and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and performance standards across SAP cloud environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or AI/ML leadership roles, preferably within enterprise software ecosystems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands‑on experience building production‑grade ML pipelines.
- Deep understanding of machine‑learning concepts, model lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
- Experience working with SAP data platforms (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP Data Intelligence) and cloud services.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a track record of delivering data‑driven solutions at scale.
