Security Engineer
Design and implement AI-driven security solutions, leveraging machine learning, deep learning, and cloud platforms to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats in critical energy infrastructure.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine‑learning models for real‑time threat detection and anomaly analysis across energy‑sector networks.
- Integrate AI security solutions with existing SIEM, IDS/IPS, and cloud security tools (AWS, Azure).
- Design data pipelines for ingesting logs, telemetry, and sensor data, ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to embed security controls into power generation, storage, and transmission systems.
- Conduct threat hunting, model validation, and continuous improvement of detection algorithms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering with a focus on AI/ML techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch for building detection models.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM).
- Strong understanding of network security, SIEM/EDR tools, and incident response processes.
- Experience designing data pipelines and working with large‑scale log/telemetry datasets.
