What success looks like in this role:
The AI Consulting Lead owns the Consulting Service Track — the third track of the Three-Track Model — providing Customer's Authorized Users and AI governance team with Anthropic-certified consulting expertise on demand, sized as Small, Medium, or Large and drawn against a monthly allocation of hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the Consulting Service Track, making Anthropic-certified consulting personnel available to Customer against the agreed monthly allocation of hours.
- Track and manage consumption of Small (up to 1 hour), Medium (more than 1 and up to 8 hours), and Large (more than 8 hours) requests against the monthly allocation.
- Deliver or oversee Small requests: office-hours prompt assistance, feature guidance, and single-question use-case input.
- Lead Medium requests: focused working sessions, prompt-library tuning, contained solution or agent design tasks, and integration guidance.
- Lead Large requests: multi-session solution and agent design, scoped proof-of-concept work, and roadmap and governance advisory.
- Manage the consulting intake process, working with Customer to confirm the size (Small, Medium, or Large) and priority of each request.
- Coordinate roadmap and governance advisory engagements with Customer's designated AI governance team, respecting Customer's sole prioritization authority over the Anthropic roadmap and rollout waves.
- Make subject-matter experts available for working sessions and proof-of-concept work as reasonably required by Customer.
- Manage scope boundaries of the Consulting Track: identify and escalate requests for consulting hours in excess of the monthly allocation, or for implementation of proof-of-concept work into production, for a separate Change Order.
- Partner with the AI Architect(s) and Security Architect to ensure consulting recommendations (solution/agent design, integration guidance) align with platform architecture and guardrail/policy governance.
- Represent Consulting-track activity, consumption, and value delivered in the biweekly AI Review Board and executive dashboard reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Claude Certified Architect – Foundations (CCA-F) — Anthropic's official proctored certification for designing and shipping enterprise-grade Claude applications (or committed to obtaining it within an agreed timeframe of joining).
- Extensive experience in AI/GenAI advisory, solution architecture, or consulting delivery, including leading client-facing engagements.
- Demonstrated experience scoping and delivering tiered advisory engagements, from short-form guidance through multi-session solution design and proof-of-concept delivery.
- Strong hands-on expertise in prompt engineering, agent design, and GenAI solution/integration patterns.
