About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the AI roadmap, aligning research and product teams with mission‑critical defense objectives.
- Architect, develop, and deploy scalable machine‑learning pipelines and real‑time inference services.
- Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing technical mentorship and fostering best practices in model development, testing, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with system architects to integrate AI components into existing defense platforms, ensuring security, reliability, and performance.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, conduct proof‑of‑concepts, and drive continuous improvement of the AI stack.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a proven record of delivering production‑grade solutions.
- Expertise in Python and deep‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployment.
- Demonstrated leadership of technical teams and ability to translate complex research into operational systems.
- Experience with defense or high‑security environments is highly desirable.
