Software Engineer
Lead the design and deployment of secure, scalable AI/ML solutions for federal missions, leveraging cloud platforms, data governance, and compliance frameworks to deliver actionable intelligence and automation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end AI and machine‑learning pipelines that meet stringent federal security and compliance requirements.
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud‑native solutions on AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, high availability, and cost efficiency.
- Establish data governance policies, data lineage, and access controls aligned with FedRAMP, NIST, and other federal standards.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and program managers to translate mission objectives into actionable AI models and automated workflows.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams while driving best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, and security hardening.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and deploying AI/ML solutions in highly regulated, cloud‑based environments.
- Deep expertise with Python, major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53, and data governance principles.
- Proven ability to translate complex mission requirements into scalable, secure architectures and to lead cross‑functional technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of delivering high‑impact solutions for government or defense clients.
