Lead the design, build, and deployment of AI‑enabled analytical and decision‑support applications for defense sponsors, focusing on LLM interaction, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, and scalable intelligent agents.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop Generative AI solutions that integrate Large Language Models with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines for real‑time decision support.
- Design and implement intelligent agent frameworks that operate at scale, enabling automated analysis and recommendation generation for Naval and Air Force stakeholders.
- Collaborate with DoD partners and internal teams to translate cutting‑edge AI research into operationally relevant applications, ensuring compliance with security and performance standards.
- Lead end‑to‑end deployment, including model training, fine‑tuning, and continuous monitoring of AI systems in production environments.
- Document system architecture, data flows, and best practices to support knowledge transfer and future scalability.
Requirements
- Proven experience building production‑grade Generative AI and LLM‑based systems.
- Strong background in Retrieval‑Augmented Generation and intelligent agent design.
- Hands‑on expertise with Python, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and containerization technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external sponsors.
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
