Data Engineer
Versatile AI and Analytics Engineer responsible for designing and delivering scalable analytics solutions on Microsoft Fabric, building data pipelines, and creating user‑focused visualisations using Python, SQL, Azure services, and Power BI.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Services.
- Build reusable analytics components and lightweight applications using Python and SQL.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that meet business user requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into scalable solutions.
- Implement best practices for data quality, governance, and performance optimisation across the modern data platform.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analytics.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, or similar cloud data platforms.
- Proven ability to develop Power BI dashboards and data visualisations.
- Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and solution architecture.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
