About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and validate optical computing circuits and photonic components for high‑throughput AI workloads.
- Develop FPGA and ASIC prototypes, integrating optical and electronic interfaces.
- Optimize system performance, power, and thermal budgets for data center deployment.
- Collaborate with software teams to expose accelerator APIs and benchmark AI models.
- Lead troubleshooting, failure analysis, and iterative hardware refinement.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware design for high‑performance computing.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded and test development.
- Strong understanding of FPGA/ASIC toolchains and photonic integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment.
