QA Engineer
Test Engineer responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance and functional tests of mission‑critical government systems, leveraging test plans, automation tools, and Linux environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for performance and functional verification of government‑grade software.
- Execute manual and automated tests on Linux‑based platforms, capture metrics, and analyze results to identify bottlenecks and defects.
- Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and stakeholders to reproduce issues, provide root‑cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to improve test efficiency and repeatability.
- Document test outcomes, produce comprehensive reports, and track defect resolution through the lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in performance testing, test planning, and execution for complex software systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems architecture, Linux operating environments, and debugging techniques.
- Proficiency with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
