Software Engineer
Lead the creation of an in‑house B737 Structural Engineering Group, driving structural analysis, FEA, and maintenance solutions for a large Boeing 737 fleet, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a B737 Structural Engineering team, defining processes and standards for structural assessment and repair.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and finite element modeling to evaluate airframe integrity and support maintenance decisions.
- Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, work instructions, and documentation in compliance with aviation regulations and Boeing service bulletins.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering departments to troubleshoot structural issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel on structural inspection and repair techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft structural analysis or maintenance engineering, preferably with Boeing 737 series.
- Proficiency in FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN) and CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (FAA/Transport Canada) and Boeing maintenance manuals.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and team‑leadership skills.
