About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual, detailed, and validation design of aircraft fuel system components and assemblies.
- Perform CFD and structural analyses to optimize fuel flow, pressure drop, and thermal performance.
- Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink models for system behavior prediction and integration.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on propulsion, avionics, and safety to ensure system compatibility.
- Prepare technical reports, design reviews, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in fuel system design and analysis for aircraft.
- Proficiency in CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR‑CCM+), FEA (e.g., NASTRAN, Abaqus), and MATLAB.
- Strong understanding of aircraft propulsion, safety regulations, and certification processes.
- Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
