Backend Engineer
AEM Backend Engineer responsible for building and maintaining AEM components, templates, and workflows while supporting cloud deployments and leveraging AI‑powered coding assistants to enhance development efficiency.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using Java and HTL.
- Collaborate with senior developers and architects to troubleshoot and resolve AEM issues.
- Support AEM Cloud Service deployments, configuration, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Integrate AI‑assisted development tools such as Cursor and GenAI assistants to accelerate coding and testing.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and security best‑practice implementation.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Java and experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
- Familiarity with AEM Cloud Service architecture and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies (HTL, JavaScript, CSS) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
