Data Analyst
Analyze and improve quality data for advanced aerospace technologies, using Python, SQL, and visualization tools to drive insights, ensure data integrity, and support engineering decisions in a hybrid environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from test rigs, manufacturing lines, and engineering tools.
- Develop automated data pipelines and analytical scripts in Python and SQL to monitor quality metrics.
- Create interactive dashboards and visual reports to communicate findings to engineering and leadership teams.
- Perform statistical analyses to identify root causes of quality deviations and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional aerospace engineers to define data requirements and improve data collection processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within aerospace or defense.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation.
- Strong knowledge of data quality principles and statistical methods.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
