Systems Engineer
Design and develop high‑performance Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) systems, providing technical leadership on sensor fusion, signal processing, and embedded software to deliver reliable aerospace solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and integration of IMU hardware and firmware for aerospace applications.
- Develop and validate sensor fusion algorithms and signal‑processing pipelines using C/C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements, perform trade studies, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance analysis of prototypes and production units.
- Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in inertial sensor development.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded firmware and algorithm development.
- Strong knowledge of sensor fusion, Kalman filtering, and signal‑processing techniques.
- Hands‑on experience with embedded hardware platforms, real‑time operating systems, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
