Senior systems administrator responsible for managing and securing enterprise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and supporting classified operations with a focus on Linux, Windows Server, networking, and virtualization technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable server environments across Linux and Windows platforms.
- Configure and manage network services, firewalls, and VPNs to support secure communications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches to ensure optimal uptime.
- Implement security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, and maintain compliance with DoD standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy virtualized workloads and cloud services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
- Proven expertise in Linux and Windows Server administration, networking, and virtualization.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and experience with DoD or classified environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
