Software Engineer
Internship supporting Level 4 autonomous driving research by developing and evaluating multimodal AI models such as vision‑language, vision‑language‑action, and large language models using Python and deep‑learning frameworks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prototype multimodal AI models (VLMs, VLAs, LLMs) for Level 4 autonomous driving.
- Implement data pipelines for sensor fusion, including camera, LiDAR, and radar streams.
- Train, fine‑tune, and evaluate deep‑learning models using PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Integrate AI models into the vehicle software stack via ROS and conduct real‑world testing.
- Document experiments, results, and contribute to research publications or internal reports.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep‑learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Knowledge of computer vision, sensor fusion, and large language model concepts.
- Familiarity with ROS or similar robotics middleware is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to work collaboratively in a research‑focused environment.
