About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available Linux/RedHat infrastructure for mission‑critical applications.
- Automate configuration management and deployment pipelines using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.
- Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate workloads on Kubernetes clusters.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and apply security hardening in compliance with DoD standards.
- Collaborate with software development and security teams to integrate secure coding practices and continuous delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's (or Master’s) degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of DevOps experience in Linux/RedHat environments.
- Proficiency with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) and experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to implement security controls and hardening for DoD Secret‑level systems.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
