Software Engineer
Lead the design, optimization, and validation of advanced airframe structures using Python, C++, and MDO techniques to deliver lightweight, high‑performance aircraft components.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high‑fidelity finite element models for airframe structures, integrating material behavior and load cases.
- Implement data‑driven optimization workflows, leveraging MDO frameworks to reduce weight while meeting safety and performance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate design intent into computational models and validate results against experimental data.
- Automate simulation pipelines using Python scripts, ensuring reproducibility and efficient data management.
- Analyze and interpret simulation outputs, providing actionable insights and recommendations for design improvements.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for simulation and automation.
- Experience with finite element analysis software (e.g., Abaqus, Nastran) and MDO tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
