Lead the design and implementation of a full aircraft integration test lab, architecting Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop and Software‑in‑the‑Loop environments to support advanced aircraft development, validation, and certification.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain an end‑to‑end aircraft integration test lab, including hardware, software, facilities, and networking components.
- Architect and execute Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) and Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL) test environments to validate aircraft systems and subsystems.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and certification teams to develop test plans, procedures, and documentation that meet regulatory and company standards.
- Lead cross‑functional teams on complex integration projects, ensuring timely delivery and continuous improvement of test processes.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot integration issues, and recommend design or process changes to enhance system reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft or aerospace test engineering, with a strong background in HIL/SIL and system integration.
- Proficiency in test automation, scripting, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of aviation certification processes (e.g., FAA, EASA) is highly desirable.
