About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and calibrate acoustic and vibration monitoring equipment on construction sites.
- Collect, process, and analyze noise, vibration, and air quality data using industry-standard software.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations to ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop practical mitigation strategies and improve construction practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update monitoring protocols as standards evolve.
Requirements
- Degree in Acoustics, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in construction acoustics or vibration monitoring.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, MATLAB, or similar) and field instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of UK environmental regulations and noise control standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
