Software Engineer
Serve as the accounting subject‑matter expert for a cloud‑based procurement platform, delivering training, workflow design, and integration support to internal teams and customers.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary accounting SME, translating ERP functionality into practical, repeatable workflows for users.
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs and enablement materials for internal staff and external customers.
- Configure, test, and support integrations between the platform and major accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Analyze data flows, troubleshoot integration issues, and provide SQL‑based reporting to ensure accurate financial data transfer.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to embed accounting best practices into new features and releases.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with ERP/ accounting software integrations in a SaaS environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial workflows, and best‑practice controls.
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills, with a proven track record of delivering technical training.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑growing, agile organization.
