About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for analytical solutions within the East Japan market.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
- Provide technical expertise and product demonstrations to customers, aligning solutions with their scientific workflows.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular follow‑ups, training, and post‑sale support.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including application specialists, service engineers, and marketing—to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical sales or account management for analytical instrumentation or related scientific products.
- Strong understanding of analytical chemistry techniques and laboratory workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a pipeline effectively.
- Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable working in a remote, region‑focused environment.
