AAS Test Engineer
Location: This is a Hybrid role. Whiteley, Hampshire
Clearance Required: This role will require attainment and maintenance of SC clearance
We are looking for an Integration Test Engineer to join our team to help us deliver numerous systems integration projects.
As part of an multi discipline team the successful candidate will be responsible for test case derivation, documentation and execution, as assigned by the Test Lead. The successful candidate will be work with a variety of specialists to design, create and execute tests. The role will require the ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team, ranging from technical personnel to programme leadership.
The role includes executing tests across a variety of software products, their interfaces and network & infrastructure configurations, and identifying and managing resulting defects.
Primary Responsibilities
What will I be doing?
Generating Test Cases by reviewing of requirements and design documentation, liaising with SMEs
Documenting of test results and any defects/reporting progress, risks & issues
Investigating issues and working with suppliers to identify root cause and resolution
Analysing data and test evidence from suppliers to show compliance to requirements
Reviewing Test Plans, Designs and Reports, working with suppliers and stakeholders
Identifying improvements in new and existing processes
Basic Qualifications
What does Leidos need from me?
Min 3 years test experience (including ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing)
Ability to take part in testing in Fareham
Excellent understanding of Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional, Non-Functional and Integration Testing
Demonstrable systems integration experience including integrating 3rd party systems or components
Able to estimate and plan own immediate tasks and manage their completion
