Systems Engineer
Lead design and integration of complex aerospace systems, driving architecture, verification, and implementation using Embedded C/C++, Linux, RTOS, AUTOSAR, and Python to deliver high‑performance, mission‑critical solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop embedded software for aerospace platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and mission requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in design reviews, integration testing, and performance validation of real‑time systems.
- Implement and maintain Linux/RTOS environments, optimizing for reliability, safety, and resource constraints.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define interfaces, conduct signal integrity analysis, and resolve integration issues.
- Document design decisions, create technical specifications, and support certification activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems engineering within aerospace or defense.
- Proficiency in C/C++ development, Linux kernel modules, and RTOS concepts.
- Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture, safety standards (DO-178C, DO-254), and verification methodologies.
- Experience with Python for scripting, automation, and data analysis.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and ability to mentor junior engineers.
