Software Engineer
Lead the design and optimization of the 5G NR gNB physical layer, implementing advanced DSP algorithms on FPGA and GPU platforms to meet 3GPP standards and enhance network performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize the PHY layer for 5G NR gNB, ensuring strict compliance with 3GPP specifications.
- Implement and refine core PHY algorithms such as channel estimation, equalization, beamforming, MIMO, and decoding techniques.
- Translate algorithmic designs into efficient DSP, FPGA, and GPU implementations for real‑time signal processing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate PHY modules into the broader 5G stack and validate performance through simulation and field testing.
- Document design decisions, performance metrics, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Strong background in 5G NR, gNB architecture, and PHY layer concepts.
- Proficiency in DSP algorithm development and experience with FPGA/GPU programming.
- Deep understanding of 3GPP standards and MIMO/beamforming techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced R&D environment.
