Devops Engineer
Senior 3rd line infrastructure engineer responsible for design, escalation support, optimisation and continuous improvement of hybrid IT environments using Linux, Windows Server, VMware and AWS, with strong scripting and network troubleshooting skills.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 3rd line support for complex infrastructure issues across Linux, Windows Server and VMware environments.
- Design and implement solutions for performance optimisation, capacity planning and reliability.
- Escalate and resolve incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and documentation.
- Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line teams to improve support processes and knowledge base.
- Maintain and automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python scripts.
- Participate in on‑call rotations and support hybrid office infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure support.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, VMware and AWS services.
- Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with network protocols, monitoring tools and incident management frameworks.
